For me it seems that the HD has saved a wrong drive geometry. Check if there are jumpers on it to change
size or other parameters. If not, I'd take it and put
in into a PC-Box, then use BIOS and/or a partitioning
program, make a single primary partition as big as the
drive and save. After that I'd try again with HDToolbox.

Ok, PCs with SCSI-Controller are quite rare now.
Maybe you can get a cheap old one on Ebay.
Have you checked usability of the HDs seperately
with HDToolbox yet? Is your SCSI-Chain all in order?

If the HDs have been used within an AS400, they've
probably been used in RAID mode or something similar.
That's where the wrong size comes from, I presume.

Hm, from my experience it's best to put the controller in
the middle. Never had any problems using this config. But
with SCSI there's always more than one way to get things
going.
