Good choice!

The G3-xe is nice too, easier to overclock
iv'e heard. A guy on the mailing list is
clocking his at 933, and it's rock solid.

But this one (G4) is sharp enough!

Be careful when choosing memory though,
they are a bit picky. I use Crucial256, reg, 2cl
and never had any problems but double check
before you buy...

I wish I could answer that question :-)

With some memory you can't run the FSB
at full speed, and with some nothing works,
It's not much of a problem if you are aware
of it before you buy memory though, just
check the compatibility list.

by amigamad on 2003/5/18 2:27:42  I should have my a1 soon as eyetech have cashed the check never had no problems with the before.  with regards to memory they have updated the firmware so you can use any normal sdram and dont have to have to have the ecc registered sd ram.

No, you can't use any sdram, the updated firmware
gives you more options though...
