I don't get this "argument". What's so special about SAM? Why couldn't it be built on a mass produced mobo? Because we need unique "Amiga HW"? Oh, please...

I personally much prefer the informative text boot on my Gentoo box to any apples or other fruit, it speaks to the geek in me :)

Btw, what the BIOS has to do with the way the machine presents (or not) the bootup information??
