What happened with the Spotify donation? I think not much...

I personal doubt that donations of money and/or hardware without strict conditions really are successful. But if the OS4 camp have enough money to make gifts then they shall do it

I have donated him a few EUR but I dislike the extend of "donation requesting" that has started in the community for some time.

to explain my reaction... a short time ago someone requested to get the money for fuel to show his X1000 on a event. And then it is starting to become silly. And I had this in my head when I read the thread.

Helping a friend is totally different and we should help each other when possible
