FFS vs PFS vs SFS?

Okay, so I am getting weird errors on a hard drive.

In case I end up having to reformat, what are relative advantages and flaws of the three main amiga file systems? (Fast, Smart and Professional) ?

Random internet searches gives a lot more "SFS ate my partition!" posts for sure.

I am setting up a PFS3 drive now, and we'll see how that goes. Once my stuff is backed up at the speed of a particularly sluggish snail (pun somewhat intended)
