Amiga tournament fighters. Showdown!
« on: January 11, 2012, 12:51:04 AM »
can't do much of anything on my miggy currently, so all I am left with is talk about it for a bit longer :)

So... of the amiga tournament fighters (street fighter 2 types), which do you recommend?
I figure we can do a proper poll once we have a list of suspects.

Ones that spring to mind that we enjoyed at least to some extent:

Street Fighter 2 (never saw it on arcade or a console until much later)
Mortal kombat 1 and 2 (we played 2 quite a bit)
Shadow fighter (looks cool but had a hard time getting into it)
Fightin spirit (probably the closest to an amiga "console fighter")
Body blows (a bit naff but there's something oddly compelling about this one, we played the Galactic one a fair bit)

Anything else?

I've always heard it referred to as a terrible game, at least on consoles anyways. Is it actually worth checking out, in your opinion?
