When I didn't have an amiga, I used it for games primarily.

Two gamepads hooked up to the PC and a lot of two player fun was had :)

(it was UAE, rather than winUAE but eh, same deal)

A bit of demo watching too. Mods was easier using... well, I forget the name of the app I used.

I just use for some quick tests, data recovery..

I dont use too much, but annyway.. If you dont have any Real Amiga, or haved the Amiga, but dont wanted use anymore, its a cool way for stay in Amiga.
yeah, the emulation is extremely accurate nowadays. Quite enjoyable and pretty cheap of course :) (Cost of ROM's basically)

I did find that occasionally a given game would be a little more finicky. F.x. the version of Turrican 2 I had required a 1.3 kickstart.
But when I wrote the same ADF to floppies, it runs fine on my 1200.
