It looks like I should be the happy owner of a 3000 very soon, so yes, its exactly what I need :D

I don't think the 4000 version of the warp engine fits in a 3k desktop. You will need the 3k version for that.
 
I would recommend the warp engine over the cyberstorm for a 040. I have had both over the years, and it worked better for me.

64 megs is plenty, but I dont think Im up to hacking away at my poor 3000 when she gets here, so I think I'll pass. Thanks though!
