I am thinking about getting a minimig just for classic amiga gaming! I had an Amiga 600 in the old days, and I recently found out about the minimig and I am really excited about it.

I am googling the last 3 days about it and I am totally confused!

Do I need 2 or 4 mb version ?
Do I need arm or not ?

I read that minimig is facing problems with multi disk games. Also I contact amigakit and they informed that minimig with 4mb has hd support. That means I will be able to play whdload games?

I remember that my Amiga 600 had only 1mb ram and I was able to play rise of the robots! an 11-12 disk game!

thank you for reading this post.

To my knowledge, the basic minimig emulates 2 disk drives, so Beneath a steel sky might take a while..

For classic games, 2 MB is plenty fine for almost everything. It'll give you expanded sound in a few games. Im hard pressed to think of an OCS/ECS game needing more.
4 MB might be handy for running a more full fledged system.
