A few select companies aside, the gaming industry has approximately 9 ideas between them, and they keep stuffing crap on top of those 9 ideas.

Part of the problem is that a "big" title requires a massive budget with crazy ass 3D graphics, meaning nobody wants to take a chance on it (especially when even a massively acclaimed title will only sell in the 2-300 thousand range due to piracy) and they keep pushing out drivel.


If you want to see original and interesting games.. you are totally correct.. go to the indie game developers.

the thread on aw.net has some other comments from one of the involved people as well, mentioning that price isn't set in stone, as they are still trying to find where they can save some money.

But then, they are doing the 460 as well, so its not like this is the only amiga ever

its worth noting that it was running in debug mode.
