I use my A1200 with Blizzard '030 for assembly language programming and sometimes games (recently registered WHDLoad
. I also play music on it in WAV format for the novelty factor. It's a pity AmigaOs 3.0 is so far behind the times and I sometimes think of writing something much better (and don't say AmigaOs 3.9, because that's just as far behind the times :lol:).
A new OS and things like good web browsers which don't need GFX cards and ten million tera herz CPUs to be fast, would surely be welcome (I'd do it all if it wasn't so much damned work :lol:)
Old machines like classic Amigas with 68K+AGA could do a lot more with up to date, well written OS and other software (yes, that means ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE, deal with it
). Pity no one seems to want to do it
