Those are integrated NIC's. Those are for Ethernet and will have an RJ45 jack. Those are for a LAN.
You should be able to hook a router to your modem and than a number of computers to the router via the NIC. You can also have a host computer with two NIC's. One for the modem and one for the other computer. The router is a more elegant and easier solution though
