Same here.
Last time was a pair of Proline Joysticks for my 7800.  (Yes, I know they are bad, but they are original.)
Found a nice looking pair at a decent price.  
They werre shipped totally without any packing material in an envelope, slightly padded envelope, but not much.

When I opened the envelope, plastic pieces started falling out.

I did get a refund, but still....

As a side note, I managed to super glue them together mostly.  Lost some plastic, and you can tell they have been broken, but they work as long as I'm delicate, so I refunded half the refund.  
I figure I might have paid that much for a broken pair..
(No, they never said, "Hey thanks, you didn't have to do that.."  But I did it for me.. ;-)
