Besides, I don't think that amibay actually follow the law, where you know, a buyer has the right to change his or hers mind.

"The law?"  Really..  
The worst they can do is ban someone.  Even if you think they banned someone for totally wrong reasons, it's not really a legal issue...  

As has been said, some people like them, some don't.
I like Amibay..
Haven't been there in a bit, but that's more to protect my pocketbook.. ;-)

One item, what does it mean "paypay gift or pay fee"
I thought amibay didn't have fees?

Yeah, as mentioned, it's Paypal fees, not Amibay fees...

Just my preference (there are several large threads on Amibay about this), I always prefer to not use paypal gift and pay the fees.
Yes, you can save a few bucks (usually it is just a few bucks), but you lose any/all paypal backing if you use paypal gift.

Worth it to me to do that....

My personal recommendation, don't ever use paypal gift to purchase something from someone you don't actually know.  No matter how safe the site feels.
