To be fair to Nova here, the title of the thread is "Return to Zork", which is an actual game.
And a way to play that specific game on the Amiga is ScummVM....

Of course, as Cammy pointed out, you need a souped up / decked out Amiga to handle ScummVM..

I doubt my 030/28 1200 could do it...
(It can run ScummVM, but just barely...)

But the actual text of the first post looks to be more a request for any of the "Zork" games on the Amiga..

I have to thank Cammy again for the info....
I didn't realize all those games took place in the Zork universe...

Looks like it's time for a trip back to text adventuring.. ;-)

ACTUALLY what I was referring to was the fact that I'd like to 'return to playing Zork' one my favorite text-based games, which I originally played on a PCjr.
That's what I said:
(Well, minus the PCjr)

But, as your subject line referred to a specific game title, that's what I believe Nova was referring to...

It's all good.. ;-)

Why not get "Frotz" for AmigaOS?  It's an Infocom Z-machine interpreter that can run the modules of any Infocom text adventure and even dozens of excellent Z-machine modules created by modern text-adventure authors.

That's a great idea..
There are several versions on Aminet...

I've used WinFrotz on the PC in the past and it worked great..
Never thought about an Amiga version..
