Preparing a new Amiga HDD with WinUAE is rather easy.
Well, considering the number of people who have question about this, that might be a bit off.. It's not that difficult generally..
It does involve (or it did when I did it) launching WinUAE with the -disableharddrivesafetycheck option.
Then there's making sure that you have the correct controller type when you launch HDToolbox... (Matches the type of drive that was added when you added it to WinUAE)
Then there's still the possibility that the CF Card might not be compatible, as some aren't...
It's one of those configs that sounds more complicated than it is, but I wouldn't call it easy...
