I don't understand this comment.
I don't count a keyboard, mouse and floppy drive an 'upgrade' for CD32, this configuration will run A1200 games I would guess. Also 256kb chipram cartridges were practically given away with A1000s to get them more or less up to 512kb internally.
Also on a side note.....why do you need to transfer your own specific ROM manually? If you own the machine and somebody else has already done the tricky bit, why force yourself to go through it again when the result will be an identical ROM file for UAE?
I was more or less trying to say that there were several Amiga systems that ran similar things, and others (A1000, CDTV and CD32) that could if prodded but certainly not as easily as the others. For instance how many A1000's ever had graphics cards, ethernet cards, etc. Same for the CDTV and CD32.
As for the legality, people are just covering themselves... They can't very well say "Just go get the ROMS off of any bit torrent site" but that is what I did even though I own an A1200. I certainly didn't copy my rom from 1200. I have no moral problem with it, I support developers like Individual computers and vendors like Amigakit and the dude that made WHDload which I registered. If there were more goodies to buy I certainly would.
