Will Trade EFIKA with Morphos key for A1200

As the title says. your bog standard efika unit, 4gb CF card, morphos.key it won't recognise any more and a total inabilty to boot from anything other than the internal IDE connector. Has a Reset button that doesn't work (might be loose) pico PSU that will occasionally fail to make a connection (you sometimes have to wobble it a bit), audio out (green) that needs tapping if you want stereo, And a modified External CDROM enclosure for a case. Graphics card is radion 9200 I think. Installed is the latest morphos and the "ultimate pack" collection of software from morphzone. less than 40,000 miles, silver, alloy wheels, power steering and central locking, one previous lady owner and runs like a bag of shite. Been crashed several times in previous half hour.

Any offers welcome, So long as it has a hard disk, some software, and works properly.

Well If the problems with yours can be fixed by replacing the clock battery and shaking it a bit, Like my efika, then fair game.:hammer:

The biggest problems with this unit are running out of ram (crap for web browsing and multitasking at the same time) and the fact it makes no sound. Seriously. No sound, no power lights, and the "design feature" of not powering usb stuff or making a video signal for 10 seconds after you plug it in is terrifying. When first got it I thought it was broke!

As well as trades make a cash offer. Crashing problem has now been tracked down. Given that it always freezes rather than giving a guru suggests it's actually the half hour demo timeout. It always takes the same amount of time.

I think the fact it won't recognise the keyfile is because it's the wrong one.

If I've made it look like a POS that's because I was annoyed last night. Nobody deprives me of my irc. I'm posting from it right now, no problems.

Well I paid £95 inc postage when I got it. I'm going to sleep on weather I want to part with it or not. After the epic saga of getting it to work, I think I might just need to relax a bit.


Actually bugger it, i'm keeping the thing for a while yet. I fugure In a few months when indivision AGA production is started again I can just blow a load of cash on one and a refurb 1200 from amikit.
