One alternative is that Amiga, Inc has a board of directors, who have the power of replacing the CEO. This is what happened when Steve Jobs got kicked out of Apple a few years ago. He was one of the founding partners, but got the boot anyway. They hired him back a few years later, when Apple was about to sink, and one of the first things he did was to introduce the iMac.
