I have a machine that is a dedicated amiga emulation machine.

I removed windows shell and replaced it with winuae/amiga os3.9

You never even know windows is underneath, unless something breaks and I have to fix it. I have a competition usb joystick but most everything else is just a stock 2ghz pc with a decent video card.

Feels alot like my old 1200 but much much faster and no flaky hardware problems ever... I have a backup of the entire system on 2 usb thumb drives, so it I ever have any problems its very easy to restart a new install.

When I get some extra money, I plan on buying a boing ball mouse and keyboard from amigakit for it, along with a catweasel so I can make floppies for my real amiga machines.

Yes it does, which is another reason why I'd like one on this machine. I don't like this competition pro, its too clicky or something. I prefer to use a sega genesis controller or one of the others I had for amiga back in the day.

You can actually use an amiga keyboard/mouse and joystick with the new catweasel. Thats pretty awesome.
