I think thats great news. You can't sell someone something with a set of features and then take those features back without offering a refund or partial refund at least. Many people bought the ps3 instead of xbox BECAUSE it supported linux.
They can't just take back features like that, its immoral and probably illegal.
Its like buying a 4 wheel drive truck and then the car company just disabling 4 wheel drive a year after you buy the car, its just wrong.
I hope they get slammed in court for millions, or get forced to reinstate those features, that would be a better outcome.
