Gaaaaaaah! (Domain names)

My old domain name recently expired and according to a whois lookup is on registrar hold.

I can't for the life of me recall which company I registered it with, the email address I originally used to register it is defunct so I never got the notification... How in the hell do I find out who the company was? Anyone know? :-(

 Assuming you mean the mpunk3.org domain, it lists the "sponsoring registrar id" as R11-LROR, which turns out to be Tucows Inc, does that help?

I'd looked that up already but it doesn't offer me any real clues. As far as I can tell I have to get in touch with the actual company or wait a month or so for it to be released. Only in the meantime I'm missing all my email. :-(

I never thought about my bank statements, though. I'll take a look tonight. Cheers! :-)
