We eventually got snow tonight but it looks like it will have thawed out come morning.

Little rant: Why does this weather bring out the stupidity of road users? Bit of snow on the ground and everyone decides that:

(a) It's a great idea to drive twice as fast as usual
(b) It's perfectly reasonable to leave your vehicle in the middle of the main road with hazard lights on while you pick up a pack of fags, because there's 1/8th of an inch of snow on the ground.

Edit: Actually, I suppose 'pack of fags' is more amusing if you think of pack like 'pack of wolves' :-D

I visited once, although I didn't get to see much. I do remember some acquaintances having bricks thrown at them for wearing black clothes... was kinda scared to return then! Ahem... I'm sure it's not so bad.

Plan a picnic, and take a convertible. That way you're guranteed at least some kind of precipitation, you just have to hope that it's frozen! :-)
