Because there was an hour left of my shift. By the time I was there it'd be almost over.
I must have heard the alarm, got up, switched it off and reset it for 4.30pm (God knows why) and then gone straight back to sleep. I say "must have" because I don't remember a thing about it. First thing I knew, I woke up in broad daylight. :-(
