Copying floppy's from A600 to A600
« on: April 05, 2011, 08:01:40 AM »
I kinda screwed up my external floppy drive as needed the db23 female connector from the pcb. The external drive does not even power up anymore (used to be working).

I bought the SD Floppy Emulator from Lotharek, installed it in my other A600 and it works fine.

I have two A600's and I'm wondering is there a way that I could read some adf's from the SD card on the other A600 and then copy them to a real floppy's using the vanilla A600 that I own? A cable between the two Mig's maybe?

And is there a way to make yourself an external floppy drive for classic Amigas's  (from 880kb drive)?
A1200, Blizzard 1260 + 64mb, Indivision AGA, Subway USB, 8GB CF-HD, PCMCIA network card, OS 3.9.
And a couple of A600\'s :).

Ok, thanks for all the answers.

I think that it's easiest for me to get a new external floppy drive and write  adf's back to disk's from the A600 that has the SD Floppy Emulator.

It's a shame that I selled my Belkin null modem cable thinking that I would never use it again since I have networked my A1200...

Oh, just one question more  :

Is there such a program that one could write adf's back to floppies from A600's hard drive?
I have couple of CF-IDE adapter's & CF card's lying around...
