This post couldn't have come at a better time, I'm just "upgrading" to internal cd-drive aswell, it would be so sweet to have in my dekstop a1200:roflmao:.
A1200, Blizzard 1260 + 64mb, Indivision AGA, Subway USB, 8GB CF-HD, PCMCIA network card, OS 3.9.
And a couple of A600\'s :).

@ tasmanian guy, what slimline cd-drive are you using, or have you purchased one yet?

Hi Lauri,

You may not have seen my other post, but I've got my Amiga 1200 in a 1U rack, so either a slimline or a normal CD / DVD rom drive will fit.

I've got a spare DVD rom drive that isn't a slim but will fit nicely in the case, just got to get a professional to cut a hole in the case at the front.

For the other poster, what would I need to remove from the startup sequence to remove the nag box?  Can you still register idefix express?  If not why has it not become just free?
Oh, sorry. I already read your post about about the amiga 1200 in a rack, but my memory must have been playing tricks with me =).
