Who on Amiga.org have you met in real life?

On the top of my head: Jupp3, itix, pVC, JoannaK, Jope, hooligan, bbrv (both), IOSPIRIT (Felix Schwarz) and jacadcaps.

Undoubtedly there are several users who have met me at Amiga Retro Aachen in 2002, some demo parties or local amiga user group meetings... I'm sorry but I'm just horrible with names. ;-)

If it was me, I would dump the Amiga 1200 and keep the Amiga 2000. I have all of the different Amiga models, including the Amiga 1200, and I tell you this, the Amiga 2000 is the best Amiga that Commodore ever produced. It was designed and made in Germany and it is extremely well made. I have 4 Amiga 2000 computers in like new condition, 3 of them still in their original boxes. If I was forced to keep only one Amiga model, I would keep my Amiga 2000 computers and sell the other Amiga models.

FACTS:

I never have problems with any of my Amiga 1000, 500, or 2000 computers.

I always have problems with my Amiga 3000, 3000T, 600, 1200, 4000, 4000T, CDTV, and CD32s.

So, by these facts, I would advise you to keep the Amiga 2000 and dump your Amiga 1200.

Many people actually prefer the Amiga 2000 over the other Amiga models.  Does this mean that they are all the DoomMaster?

Your site looks ok, but, when it comes to Amiga websites, retrogeekcomputers was the best looking site that I have ever seen. That Amiga website had everything.

I don't know what your problem is but as a general rule I usually suggest people with similar issues to seek professional help.

You guys are so negative. This Doomy guy is actually one of us, because he clearly loves the Amiga computer. Unless you have proof that he did indeed rip people off, I would stop saying that about him. Think about it, if he wanted to, he could hire a lawyer and sue Amiga Org. He would win in a court of law because none of you have actual evidence that proves that he ripped anyone off. Hearsay or gossip will not hold up in court.

Anyway, none of you guys had his permission to use any part of his video, including his vocals, to create your own versions of the video. So, if Doomy decided that he liked one of your videos enough to use it as part of his new release, you should be flattered.

Many of you are so negative and I get a negative vibe from the Amiga Org community as a whole. Wayne and his moderaters should do something about all of this negativity and make Amiga Org a happy, fun place to visit.

The question that keeps popping up in my mind is:

Does any of you have actual evidence that proves that this guy "ripped" anyone off, evidence that would hold up in a coart of law? Or did someone that simply does not like the guy start rumors, which then led to a snowball effect.

I have watched this guy's videos on YouTube, especially the ones about his vintage computer history, and I must say, he does not seem like the kind of person that you people say he is. Now, he may have said some stupid things here on Amiga Org, and he may have made some threats, but, has he followed thru with any of those threats, or was he just being foolish at the time?
