G4 comp for morphos w/o system install media?

Just a quick note: You don't need the Mac OS X media to install MorphOS if that's what you're wondering.

Of course having Mac OS X alongside is a nice bonus. Most of my macs are at least dual boot

Anything that doesn't let me watch video online is useless.

That means that the faster G4s (around 800MHz and up) are not useless for you then. MorphOS OWB plays video online just fine.

How did you do it?

I installed OWB, installed the flash plugin from http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/plugins/, enabled the HTML5 mode (http://www.youtube.com/html5) and then installed http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/YouTube.js and http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/YouTube_Fullscreen_Fix.js following the instructions in the OWB readme.

It's also possible to leave out the flash plugin completely and only use html5.

If more people knew that Amigas can actually be used on YouTube, then more people would be inclined to buy one.

MorphOS is currently the only amigoid OS that can do it.
