Both OSes have added support for Pegasos2 HW (MorphOS from the beginning, OS4 much later).

I just recently found out about the Efika and it seems to me to be a reasonably priced alternative.
I'd be inclined to claim that eMac is the really reasonably priced alternative, bang / buck. You can find those even cheaper than Efika.
