MorphOS is a compelling option, however I really dig the OS 4.1 interface, and want to play around with the direct relative to my original A1000's O.S.
Pegasos 2 would be the best choice then.
Meanwhile, grab the MorphOS ISO from
MorphOS download section and give it a try. It's free (only if you really like it and wish to get rid of the 30 minute session limitation you need to pay anything)
