One of things the driver disk warned me about was that some ‘accelerators’ above 4mb can interfere with the PCMCIA slot…is that true?

I’m currently using an 8mb memory card and I’ve got a Blizzard 1230 Mk-IV coming with 16mb installed. If this is an issue, will affect both of my cards?
8MB memory expansion: yes.
Blizzard 1230-IV: no.
Is there a software patch to fix it?
No, it's a HW problem.
