quake

Quake demo map is available at id Software.

This should be enough for you to determine if it's worth trying to source the full version. If you find it worthy, just get the PC version from somewhere (as you were told before already in another thread).

QUAKE DEMO

1. Have XAD installed.

2. Download quake106.zip

3.
Code: [Select]
xadunfile quake106.zip t:

4.
Code: [Select]
xadunfile t:resource.1 t: id1/pak0.pak

5. copy t:id1/pak0.pak to your quake game directory, for example:
Code: [Select]
copy t:id1#? work:games/quake/ all

QUAKE FULL

This depends on the version of the game, but the simplest solution is to install the game and then copy the .pak files from the game ID1 directory.

To be honest this isn't exactly rocket science.
