Using CGFX supplied on the os3.9 CD does work but only until you install BB2 - the rom update/set patch introduces incompatiblities which prevent it working - screen modes wont appear in the requester. You can fix this by altering startup-sequence ...
Actually there is
a better solution (and yes, it works with CGX3, too).
This way you can keep using the exec V45.
