Jaz acts as a normal block device. You can use hdtoolbox to prep it for Amiga use, OR (and this is what I used my iomega drive for) use the discs as FAT with MountDos and fat95.

When you use the media as FAT formatted you can easily transfer files between different systems (PC, Mac).
