Well, it's for KS 1.x which always gurued "unrecoverably" (red guru), and the system rebooted.
KS 2.x added recoverable alerts (amber), so this program was pretty much is obsoleted.
There are some other nice tools for KS 2.0+ though, such as
SmartCrash.
