I've never used Linux before (so this looks like a good oportunity to start) so how easy was it to set up?
It was quite easy in fact, but I have quite a bit of linux experience.
Is it likely to make me pull my hair out?
It might. I'd practive by setting up some x86 debian first (maybe vmware setup?) and learn the basic things there first.
Anyway, here's the stuff needed to get thing going:
