What would be the best accelerator that I could use in the trapdoor port that wouldn't cause the machine to overheat?
I'd say some 060 accelerator. 68060 runs cooler than 68040.
IMO the best one would be
Blizzard 1260. It supports most memory and has SCSI-II option with
SCSI Kit.
