what became of Amiga being split into the KMOS thing?
Initially
the Amiga, Inc- announcement only mentioned that the operating system would have been sold to KMOS, Inc.
However, later
KMOS renamed itself to Amiga, Inc. Same company, same people, different legal entity.
Typical trick to get rid of debts, and other legal obligations (such as paying old employees).
