Here we go again, when do you people realise that MIPS has nothing to do with real life performance?

MIPS test does not benefit from 060 superscalar, larger caches and other advanced features. 060 is definetely MUCH faster than 030.

MIPS = Meaningless Information about Processor Speed.

Compare BYTEmark, SpecINT and SpecFPU results instead.

You can't use MIPS for this. MIPS is only comparable between exact the same CPUs. 030, 040 and 060 MIPS results can't be compared.

You can compare accelerators with the same CPU, however, but each and every one will give you *exactly* the same result, if they're clocked at the same clockspeed.

Did I already state MIPS is usless? :-)
