Sometimes, right after I have to reboot because I screwed up something, the machine has drive activity, but no image on either monitor (VGA or CGA).

FFS (FastFileSystem) bitmap has been marked "changed" and the system must scan the whole filesystem to validate the bitmap. This can take from few minutes to tens, depending on the size of the filesystem. Fix: Use a better filesystem, for example PFS3 (commercial) or SFS (free).

There are some, but all I've heard of use telnet (internet) not call lines.
