To thread, what gives any of you the right to tell another man what he can do with his property and how and when or how much to sell it? What nerve.
Anyone is free to do whatever they please with the hardware they own. If they want to sell it for $$$, smash it to bits or bury it in the Earth. I have no right to tell them what to do with their stuff. However, I reserve my right to loathe and despise anyone who isn't community-spirited enough to do the decent thing.
If you want $280 for a PPS/040, fine, ask that much. Good luck to you. If you'd rather smash it than accept $100, you're a retard and need your head examined. If you really want to get top dollar for it, eBay does something called an 'auction', you start low and let the market decide how much the item is worth.
Of course, we all know that (a) it's probably Doomy and (b) the board will never get smashed, it'll go away and come back again later when he feels like trying again... Assuming the board even exists.
These people seem to believe that this will somehow improve their ability to sell things, as the guy who said above, it's almost like a ransom "Pay $$$ or the CPU card gets it!" The fact is that the Amiga community is sick and tired of being treated like fools and we won't fall for that sort of crap.
