Actually, that's the First Commandment of Amibay.
The prime directive is that it exists for people to actually enjoy the hobby and trade items for sensible prices. People can ask for LOLprices, but their items will never sell. Yes, sometimes eBay will swing you a better price, and so be it, most Amibayers still check eBay for the odd bargain.
For all those bashing the capitalism drum in this thread. Yes, you are correct, you are quite welcome to buy and sell stuff at whatever prices you choose, there's no laws against it, free markets and all that. That's what eBay is for, and many of the trading areas on Amiga forums. It's not what Amibay is for. If you don't like it, you don't have to join, nobody's forcing you. But slagging the place off because you disagree with our motives is not cool.
