My understanding is that Jen's schedule got completely slammed by the production of the C64 Reloaded MK2 and most other projects were put on hold as a result.
production or design? My understanding is that while he announced it last year, he wasn't working on the design at any point in 2016. At least that was the impression he gave in an interview.
