Is Walt Disney Animation Studio really that rare?

If there is only one on ebay then it's pretty rare, however as it hasn't sold then either nobody wants it or at least nobody wants it at that price.
 
The argument for re-listing at a high value is that if the seller doesn't actually need to get rid of it now, then in the future someone might come along who is willing to pay the asking price. Auction sites work well when there are a couple of people willing to pay a reasonable price, but if you are only likely to get one person bidding then setting your starting price is important. Too low and you'll feel upset when it sells, too high and it will never sell.
 
You could always send the seller a message saying how much you're prepared to pay and see if he'll at least start the bidding at your value next time he lists it. Although if you want to get it for 0.99 then it's probably not worth your time.
