I see we view this differently... you view it as a handout I view it as payment for services rendered.

I wholly agree.
I'm about to head out in an hour for a job interview (an upgrade, I'm already employed, just not earning as much as I want).
If only a few hundred of us only gave this guy $5 a month, he would be at least able to make ends meet.

So, I'm in.
It isn't "get a job, mofo", its "thanks for the work, hope you can continue".

Besides, I WANT better AMD gpu support.
Its my preference over Nvidia.

If you expect money for work,  ask in the beginning.   Don't expect money if you've been working all this time for free.  An individual's lack of finances isn't the problem of the community.  AROS doesn't pay the bills.  A real job does.  I dunno,  I guess I'm more of a guy that is in line with reality and knows what will pay the bills and doesnt.

If that community pays him enough,  good for him,  but if I was him I'd be lookin for a real job.  Good luck.

No, your just another Texan with an opinion.
The father of my best friend growing up was from Texas, I've learning not to ask Texans' their opinions (as they will offer them if you're in earshot either way, and when you don't agree with them, they'll just repeat themselves :hammer:).

Its funny to read replies like yours.   When people dont agree with you, you have to result to a half-baked attempt at an insult.  LMAO.

Its ok, I'm not offended.  Enjoy and Good Luck!  :-)

Sorry, offending you wasn't the intention.
It was for the amuzement of others here who have had the same experience with Texans (and I have relatives there, so...).

BTW - I didn't think the Republican party could come up with someone that would make me miss your village idiot (W.), but they've managed to do just that.

And - The last good argument I had with a Texan, was about sucession (and how well THAT worked out the last time).

Although...you seem pretty level headed, so...good luck to you too.
We're all going to need it.

Unfortunately I'm not into politics.  I dont vote.  All politicians are garbage, even the current POTUS.
You're not trying hard enough.  Still not offended, just laughing my ass off over here. :-)

You're as thick skinned as I am!
Damn, you're actually a pretty likable guy.

And I did just mutter to a panhandler to "Get a job" about an hour ago, so...

Those comments I made WERE pretty rude.

And what's scary is, I DO kind of miss W.

Not the brightest sumbeotch, but I'd rather have a beer with him than be in the same room with Trump.
And no matter what mistakes Jr. may have made, his heart seems to have been in the right place.

I keep expecting them to play Darth Vader's theme every time they show Trump enter a room.

Really?  I keep expecting the Benny Hill theme...

Damn, I'm ready to weep...

I freakin' love you guys, at least we all still have our senses of humor.

BTW - I met Chris Coons, one of our Delaware Senators today, a day after seeing him quoted on MSNBC and CNN (after that Senate hearing).
Even he still has his sense of humor (and he's a Republican).

So maybe I'm overreacting.
After all, if everyone else recognizes that the President is a knob...
Except, maybe, for his supporters (and they're just as frickin' crazy as he is)...well, maybe humanity isn't doomed after all.

please remove the plain mail details! dont post it like this!

Why, if the need is immediate?
Its the only way to get it there quickly.

I don't have much to spare, so I pledged $5.00 a month (which doesn't start to come out until July), and sent $5.30 (which equals four pounds) via Paypal.

This amount isn't much, but if 99 other people did exact the same, this issue would be resolved.

And for the record, I'm not a routine AROS user, I'm a register MorphOS user (on a tight budget at that).
We need to support our developers and the community at large, so...

because one can abstract it in order not to have it at he mercy if simple spam bots to share? what concerns the donation, certainly you dont need to explain yourself, your support is surely very welcome.

I think I was able to interpret that. Spam bots, eh? Never really thought about that.
