@BozzerBigD

Probable hold up in supplying complete systems may be the issue with some sound cards .

Could be, the CMI 8738 based cards do not impress me.
Their operation under OS4 seems a bit flaky.
While they are likely to be supported under MorphOS, I'd rather have a VIA based card.
It makes me wish I had not sold my Envy24HT card.

In any case, what's the point of this thread?
Whole system ARE available.
Do you feel you HAVE to buy one directly from Amigakit?

No doubt they are busy making sure that their distributors have stock.

Both pciex1 versions of CMI8738 and Envy24ht can have a version of a bridge chip that can cause problems.

Well, you could always install the PCI versions of these cards...
I don't know about the CMI8738 driver, but the driver for the Envy24HT ought to work on either type of card.

And, depending on how the card is designed, the Envy24HT definitely has the potential to provide better quality sound (than the alternatives).

However...Envy24HT cards are rapidly becoming unobtainable (and for some reason Acube has posted an image of a Tremor based card instead).
Also, the CMI8738 is the cheaper and much more commonly available solution.

I'll probably try one of those in the PCI variant.

It's 2017.  You shouldn't *actually* have to talk on the phone to be able to conduct business.

Sometime I'd LIKE to be able to talk to someone on the phone, but everyone these days is installing automated phone system that insulate themselves from their customers (And no, I don't find those systems convenient).
