I was thinking more like the Amiga 1200. Although they don't have Xorro slot's, would there be an equivalent board release? I don't own any at the moment but am saving up for an Amiga 500.

If you want to experiment with XMOS devices, you don't need an Amiga.
And I haven't seen much done with Xorro expansion on X1000s yet, so...

A1200's trapdoor slot can take RAM cards, CPU cards, Zorro and PCI busboards. There was also a graphics card called the Blizzard Vision which piggy-backed onto the Blizzard PPC CPU card (also contained a 68040 or 68060 CPU).

Some CPU cards have SCSI interfaces too. So basically if you can conceive something, it is possible. :)

Can an A1200 make me breakfast?:hammer:

Funny Mike.

X10? Man, that's an old standard.
I used to sell that stuff at a Radio Shack in the early '80s.
I don't think the modules know how to cook though.

Yes, like all Amigas can via its cereal port.

Funny stuff guys.
You know I'm a cereal killer.
I kill me a little Captain Crunch each morning.

BTW - The reason that Aeon's systems have Xorro slots is that Paul Gentle at Varisys is into XMOS devices.

Frankly, I think they are a little slow and see more potential in fpga devices.
