TMHG, the sales manager of Fab? :-)

You risk that MorphOS looses one of its main advantages by it and are promoting it? :-)

You mistake us for the red camp.
Why shouldn't a good program be shared?

Interesting, every comment I've made has been edited out of this thread.
Therefore, as I already have this for my system, OS4 users can pay for it themselves.

And AROS users? Should they pay for themselves as well?

Actually, that response was out of frustration over posts that simply vanished.
Sorry, this project has my support.
Anything that provides a uniform software package across the NG OS' is good.

Are you sure that this isn't simply a case of Amiga.org's login issues (that still remains)? Make sure to check the box "Remember Me" or "Register" whenever you log in.

I don't know, man.
But normally, if i'm not logged in it won't accept a post.

Does anybody know for sure who the bounty is for?
I can't think of anybody else but Fab who could do it.

maybe most of the people having a nextgen Amiga just use it for fun and not as a primary system (as I do and writing these lines at the moment) so ultimately, they dont care because their browser (and everything else) needs are filled by their primary system ?

That WOULD tend to describe virtually all legacy users and a lot of NG users.
Maybe that why those of us using MorphOS are confused.
We thought computers were supposed to have real utility.

You can see the name of the most recent donor on the Power2People frontpage.

Nice of Bill to publisize this effort.
Gee, the so called 'blue' camp seems to be going out of its way to help the other NG OS' get a nice piece of software.

Stop advocating - true Amigans can use Firefox, so what would they want with a browser based on an abandoned branch (Webkit) for an OS based on stolen code?

Now, now, we're all playing nice for once.
Not that I think this is going to increase cross platform cooperation.

I do support that idea of raising some moneyfor one of my favorite developers though.

Well, I really wanted to see if someone was going to volunteer to port it first, but after reading your post, I'm in.

Hope you find some work soon.  Kids are expensive.

I'm not sure why people are confused by this, the money is for MorphOS developer Fabien "Fab" Coeurjol.
I'm not sure he'd want anyone else messing with his source code.

2/3 !

Only 33% to go now!

For only $2553 the community will get access to the sources of the best Amiga browser!

It's close now. Can this happen before 2013 ends?

:)

Very cool!
Are there more of us than I thought?
Great response for a group of small communities.

Frankly, if I was Trevor, I'd give you back your money just to be done with this (but then that is just how American businesses deal with such situations).

And TimberWolf will never be fully functional, Firefox is a complex moving target.

Why not just support a native application?

Vox, if your tendency to whine wasn't so annoying, I'd join the chorus of voices encouraging you to try an alternative OS.

With the breaking news that MUI 4 is now available for AmigaOS a modern realization is one step closer to being possible which can only be seen as a good thing for all users.

And we can now code for the same user interface.
Actually, that is nice (and not really expected).

You're forgetting Amithlon and UAE Jim. :)

Now we are designing Amiga 68K apps that won't run on a 68K Amiga?
That is perverse.
