Personally, as I've said before. I'm gutting an A500, A600 or A1200 and using that case. There's already keyboard adapters for that.

How does that compare to the C64x?

Uh, the obvious.
It has a slightly newer release of Ubuntu.
It has a faster, more powerful processor.
It doesn't have a C64 breadbox case.
It's $100 more expensive.

Im not actually trying to be obtuse here I had a hard time finding hard specs at a brief glance onthe CUSA site. It was all scattered throughout the place I looked.

Why would I want a slow OS4 compatible's motherboard inside C64x case (which is not sold without that el-cheapo Atom motherboard).

Of course the case is sold separately. Its been listed that way since yesterday.
