Saw a documentary about them a couple of years ago they make the ramblings of Adolf Hitler sound like a Sunday school teacher reading a nice fairy story, how in gawds name they haven't been shot yet I'll never know...

We have this weird concept about freedom of speech where we allow just about anyone to say whatever they like as long as it not an immediate hazard (like screaming "fire" in a crowded theater).

Oh it wasn't bad. Just wanted to point out that as a low income US resident I don't have much effect on my politicians, the banking trade, or our deficits in spending and trade.
Heck, there are times when I envy the Arab world. Better to be protesting and shot at then suffer in poverty with no hope.

But its nice to know that with all the horrible things that have been happening in Australia, the economy is still good.

Unfortunately, this "free speech" moniker used in USA is no longer real. There is no such thing as free speech here. If you only knew the files the govt keeps on people labeling them as subversives you would realize this. Or, if you take into account the secret police that infiltrate demonstrations and protest groups to make lists of people,take their photos, etc etc etc..

especially since "Homeland Security" creation FEMA powers extended, Military used in policing citizens, and "Patriot act"

OK, I too find the label "Patriot act" offensive.

Explains why when the ACLU gets the courts to grant the right for local Nazi's to hold rallies the police have to defend the Nazi's against the counter demonstrators that would beat the crap out of them.
